Rear end code Hey guys. I'm working on my 79 Camaro and I haven't had a chance to pull my diff cover to see what rear end I have so I decided to get the code off today and decode it. Here's the problem. Apparently my rear end isn't the original cause the code isn't even close to the codes of 2nd gens. I've searched a bit but haven't been able to find anything on it yet. I know i'm looking in the right place. My code is only 4 characters long. It's GM32 when it should look like on of the two I listed below.

1971+ Rear Axle Code example: CB G 112 1 E
