Texas 2000 SS N/A Project

Finally getting back at it. Since it installed Wilwood disc brakes on the 9" rear, the stock e-brake cables wouldn't work, so i ordered the Wilwood Universal e-brake line kit so I can have an e-brake (especially being a manual car).
Cut the cable casings to length, and then cut the cables to length. I'm going to create a new barrel end to work with the stock cable by melting solder into a whole roughly the same size. Test run of this went well, doing it to the actual lines tonight.
Tomorrow the tuner is coming to the house so hope to make some serious progress on idling/drive-ability.
Pic below is just because I thought for 26 year old paint, to see my bike in the reflection before I've even washed/waxed/buffed the paint in 3+ years was pretty cool.
More to come!
Got her all washed up. Need to bleed the brakes again and adjust the front bumper just a bit (the hood is touching one spot so nothing crazy) and get an alignment for the front.
Next to come will be driving around to get some data logging completed for tuner. Super pumped.

It's awesome to see your project back on the ground and moving under its own power. Five years without the car running or driving is exactly the kind of stretch where a lot of projects end up stalled out or abandoned. Much respect for sticking with it and seeing it through.
That first fire up had to feel pretty dang good. Moments like that make all the late nights and setbacks along the way worth it!

Hope to bring it by your Arlington location this year once it's all road worthy.
Thank you for all the support and parts! no one does it better.
Took her for the first trip around the block and made it successfully back home. Still a lot to get used to with such a big cam and manual transmission. Surging is real in first and second lol.
The wife caught some video footage of the car. There would be more but we had some camera difficulties so there's a lot of grass and concrete
...check out the various shorts on my YouTube page. More to come. Next will be a few shakedown data log sessions around town so tuner can make some final adjustments.
Also, anyone else have a build binder like I do? lol was just curious if you guys did or not. All the receipts, stickers, articles, install instructions...what's worse is I started out with a smaller binder and as time and the car progress, I had to get a bigger binder

We were up at your Arlington location this past weekend and it was weird to not need parts for the car this trip. Still comp'd some sweet t-shirts and car cleaning stuff.
Thank you for the support!

We're definitely in for updates as you get this car out and about more
