Default turbo s10

this thing looks great how much longer before its finished? and did you have to move the spring perches on the 8.8 to get it to fit? i've started my s15 extended cab build last spring and do to the economy mine is delayed.

Question about the rear wheels. With the adapter in there how close are you to the fender lip? Could you get some pics please? I've been looking at the 8.8 swap and running C5 or C6 wheels but I suck at figuring out back space and offset.
I'll get some pics soon. I used 1.25" spacers on the rear. The face of the rim is about flush with the top edge of the fender in the rear. That's with the 8.8 axle. The fronts, i need a little more spacing, because they're not sticking out far enough for my taste. Even with the 2" spacer.

Clutch shipped out on the 17th, should be here soon, then i'll have to throw that in, so it will handle the boost. Then get a few little electrical problems resolved, then tuned!

It's all these damn LITTLE things that add up and make a BIG "to-do" list

Cool! Gonna take this thing to NED?
Are you from NH? or RI?
I live in Manchester, NH and am taking my truck back up to the track in a couple weeks. I would like to see this thing run.

I remember The first time I started my 95 ls1 swapped 6 speed t67 turbo 4 years ago and took it around the yard. It was awesome!!! Great work guys! I know its a beast. Mine sure was. Only thing different is i opted for a 9 inch and a full spool. I wanted to drag race mine.

I have been watching this build. Nice setup. Trying to do something similar. I have a 1999 Sonoma with a 6.0 truck motor going in. Using Vette parts like you did.

My question pertains to the engine harness. What did you do to tie it in? Ordered a harness? Or fabbed things up from the Vette harness to make it work?

Sounds good.
Should've had your chickenhead rev it up, while you were video'ing.

Love your build! Like how you were budget minded. This may sound stupid... But i was reading about your intercooler and how you couldn't get it to fit and be cheep.. I figured some rockcrawler guys and baja guys mount there radiators in the back... So to retain some what sleeper (by not having your intercooler exposed... Mount it horizontal in your bed..under the rails.. With two electric fans on it and mount a boost sensative switch... Maybe meth injection too to get the cooling started before the fans are a 100%. Just an idea.. To be different than everyone. And have one hell of a conversation piece.

I had to slip under the frame rail right before the lower control arm and come up into the engine bay this way in the fenderwell. I had no other way in. THe truck is too low to go under the cross member.

New diff cover on the 8.8" rear end! Rear is all painted and finished.

So... things left to do:
1. Fab up oil catch tank
2. get a new oil return pump
3. plumb all oil lines. (half done)
4. Bolt bed back on
5. charge pipe support and clamps.
6. throttle cable bracket
7. get tires
8. ARP head bolts
9. Strong clutch (has stock)
10. power steering lines
11. seat back brackets (fabrication)
12. battery tie down
13. Bleed all brake lines, and finish front pass. side line.
14. Steering shaft needs more clearance from header.

SO what's been the delay so far?!
STUPID FRIGGEN DAILY DRIVER problems!!!!!!!!
I H A T E F O R D !!!!!!!

The starter seized up and fried. Starter woudl not turn off, continued to crank and not disengage, even with the key out of the ignition. Checked relays/fuses, all were good. Just a crappy ford product. So, 140$ down the tubes to get that fixed when i could have bought an oil pump, or Head bolts, or front tires~

I literally pissed a little from laughing so hard when i saw the picture of you flipping off the starter.

you are the man.
I LITERALLY PISSED A LITTLE
