LSx F150?
I have a 1995 Ford F150 with a 4.9L 300ci 6-cylinder and a 5-speed tranny that's just begging for an LSx swap. Has anyone done one, or heard of one that's been done? I'd like to go with a T56, as well.
FYI I have access to an LS1 short block, so there's one task to check off of the list haha

never seen one done but that shouldn't stop you. i have a 2006 f150 that i want to put a duramax/allison in, but can't afford to screw up my daily driver yet, maybe someday.

By buddy Billy (1979transam on here) and I may tackle this project sometime after I get a new car, as this truck is currently my daily driver, similar to your F150.
The only thing I'm worried about is getting a set of headers that will work, because there's no way I can fab up a set myself, nor be able to afford to have someone build some for me, and if this swap would be easier to just sell this truck and pick up a mid-'90s Silverado RCSB and then do the swap. Those trucks have a lot larger aftermarket following than the F150s like mine.
