Default Headers and Dipstick

What do you do without a dipstick? My headers will not allow the dipstick to be mounted. Does one rely on the oil level sensor in the pan (I guess that's what it is?). If so, how much oil does it need when the sensor goes off? -Bob

Bend the dipstick and make it fit. I did.

I cut the mount off my dipstick tube and brazed a short piece of 3/8 pipe to allow mounting it to a different bolt hole in the head.

You need to keep your dipstick to know how much to fill the sump.

I'll have to take a look again - I know another person with the same headers got his to work.
