Default 87 Turbo Buick 6.0L w/ 70mm Turbonetics

This is my 87 Turbo Buick with 6.0L with 70mm Turbonetics turbo. It features the A/C compressor and power steering as well as a 4L80E transbrake trans. My goal is to run some low 10s or high 9s. I still have to complete the wiring and plumbing. Thanks for looking.

It's the late model TCI 4L80E transbrake. The converter is the billet TCI StreetFighter converter.

I am considering that same project right now. It will either be that or a 2nd gen Camaro. But will have a turbo LSx either way. I just have to get the nerve up to sell my Camaro.

I saw this on TTF.com last night. Great looking car and great choice of power plants. Do you plan on up grading to a larger (for hot side back pressure reasons) turbo in the future?

In the future, I plan on going with a built short block and a larger turbo. I'll probably go with a 76mm or so. At that time, I'll upgrade to a 4" downpipe as well. For now, it's a stock shortblock with mildly ported 317 heads and a mild (223/224 114LS) Comp Cam.

Here's the only other pic that I currently have that has some of the hot side in it.
I'll get more pics soon. The headers and all of the other pipes are custom stuff done by my friend, George Smith from Bowling Green, KY.
