Default Thoughts on 6.0 swap into my V6

Looking at my options for swapping the 6.0 into my car. Right now it will be just a stock/mild swap. Not looking to go big cubes or stroker, just enough to get the v8 in my car. Would look to a cam and some budget heads, maybe from 5.3 or Ls1....

Things I know I need.

Complete engine- at minimum 6.0 shortblock. Ideas for heads, cam and intake??

LS1 K-member stock or tubular

Wiring Harness- from an LS1 car?

Fuel system change, I read that a corvette fuel rail could accomodate the return fuel system i have in my car already.

I am mainly looking for the bare minimum at the moment. My plans for the car are not crazy, just would like to have around 300-350 to the tires and a good exhaust note. Would maybe look at a shot of nitrous. like i said, nothing too crazy.

I guess my goal from this thread would be what to start looking at.

I have found a few decent mileage long blocks in my area, just need a little guidance on what else I should get, or replace before it goes into the car.

Thanks

I would do a 6.0l over anything else..no replacement for displacement.

You are on the right track.. Engine, Mounts, I would use the Stock K-member(I'm using that now and it works fine), LS1 Steering Rack and Linkage, and yea you will need a LS1 PCM & Harness, 1999-2002 will work fine.

thoughts on my car being a E-throttle? I think that might be the wrench in my gears of progress with keeping this a somewhat straightforward swap...
