Default swap?

I've installed a 2008 6.0 and tko600 using edelbrock conversion mounts and headers to locate the drivetrain according to edelbrock within 3/8" of factory location. I want to use the factory mechanical linkage to operate the clutch. Is this possible and is there enough adjustment in the factory linkage? Car is being converted from auto and if its possible will save the expense of a hydr, conversion. thanks for any input..

I was looking into doing the same thing with my 71 Chevelle, but with the Engine on the stand and bolting on the driver side Edelbrock header, I can't see any way to make the Z-Bar work due to the header pipe on the #5 cylinder. I think you might be able to make it work with the right exhaust manifolds, but the Edelbrock headers look light a no go.....unless the Z-bar can be heavily modified (I might try this since I already have all the parts for the Z-Bar set up.)
