I think I'm going to drill and tap one of these: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ATM-2282/?rtype=10

Should kill two birds with one stone and let me throw the water temp and the steam vent in there.

I have been thinking of using the same piece but didn't think it was worth $40. Ebay search came up stuff summit and jegs don't have at a fraction of the price. I'll be going with the piece linked below and tapping it for my water temp sender or steam tube, whichever one doesn't fit the hole that is already drilled and tapped.

Yeah, but none of those have a hole big enough for my temp sender. When I ordered I was planning on putting the steam somewhere else. I was already ordering some other things and summit stuff comes in two days from somewhere in the states and ebay stuff comes in two weeks from taiwan.

Why put the temp sensor there? There's a hole for a sensor in each head.

I would call Summit Racing or Jegs. I'm sure they could recommend the right fitting.
