any thing is possible. if you already have the clutch pedal. try to find a MC off a mustang so it matches the angle of the firewall. you want that MC as parallel to ground as possible just so the rod when compressed goes in easy to reduce wear. what slave/throw out bearing are you using?

I like the shifter location. Did you fabricate your own mounts - or buy from a vendor? If you purchased the mounts from a vendor, which one? I'm gathering parts right now to do a LQ9 / T56 into my 71 corvette roadster that I hope to begin this winter. My son and I are finishing up a LQ9/T56 swap into a 66GTO right now. The engine swap is complete and runs great, but we are on the last lap of restoring the rest of the car.

I just bought a used T-56 from LT1-ovrkill IIRC, and it has a Wilwood 7/8" master, and I believe a new style ACdelco slave with Centerforce DFX clutch. Tranny was rebuild with a Tick stage 2 rebuild in april, so all pretty fresh.
Just gotta figure out if I can build a "plunger" off the mustang clutch pedal... should be pretty doable with a welder and a drill .... here's hoping, lol

It will be near the front of the old intake manifold.
I tapped the drivers side block plug on my 68, still using that.
See my post in this thread for other options.
