Is it possible to run a 4" ebay intercooler on a gen 3 nova 68-74

If I remember right it seemed like a 3" was real tight if you wanted to be close to using the hood latch, even after modifications...

Its possible with a modified core support. Mine is 4" thick but is sectioned into the core support by 1". The front grille filler panel gets in the way. The hood latch support needs to be left out too.

yup... I bought a 4" intercooler from ebay but thought I could make it work I am running a car ls1 intake so not trying to create less space by moving the radiator back and all. I dont know might have to sell it and get a 3"....we will see when the time comes

Its pretty tight. It took quite a bit of work to fit the 4"
