Default PICS!!!!The LQ4 Twin-Turbo Aerocharger is here!!!!

No Pics???? Sorry...not uploading them right?

Terrible Pics though!!!! Bad lighting inside my garage, well that area of the garage. Maybe better ones 2morrow.

My question is this though....This motor came complete with the ecm as well as the fuse box is hooks up to!!! EVERYTHING IS HERE!!!

SO....I went to a mechanic, sight unseen, he told me I would need a $700 Speartech harness? If the motor is still hooked up to the original harness, which is still wired to the original fusebox, why do I need to change it???

I do understand, I will have to do something about the VATS? right?
But as far as a whole new harness, is that even neccesary???

Thanks in advance!!!

Just guessing your mechanic doesn't want to clean up the existing harness. You can do that yourself. And yes, VATS does have to be tuned out of the computer.

Just guessing, but hook it up to an electric trans and all the other various pieces and parts it had before and it should work, right? No clue about tuning.

Those are variable vane technology turbos? Kinda wild how they're mounted sideways. Looks like a very high tech engine. I like it.
