Plus I don't think i'd be able to afford LS1 insurance. I like how you did the fuel system too....oh and access panel FTW!!!
I don't know how the 1997 is setup..cant see it being too far off from it..

Would it be better to just buy a ford 9" since you already have to buy a rearend? Unless you have a parts car of course.

Depends on the Engine/Drivetrain..with my setup I'll murder a 10-bolt pretty much instantly..lol..I already had the Moser so it was just a simple install.

nice work MERV!
Thanks man..my other threads are really informative too..never ended up as stickys tho.

Wiring was a cakewalk, the Gauges were really simple..I can work with V6 or V8 Gauges, the Fuel Gauge is the only thing I have left to mess with.

Fuel System was easy too, just a matter of having the correct lines to make it work.

Yup..car is a car, plenty of em. Just a chassis.
The important **** is intact, Engine runs at 75psi, still full of oil..I drove it on the Trailer, it actually drives straight..Steering is def fucked up somewhere tho..
Airbags didnt deploy so I can sell the interior.

Darn it, sorry to hear that. At least the important stuff is still in working order... #1 you and #2 the driveline! I was able to drive away from my Thunderbird wreck without anything but a police report and bruised fenders which is all that really matters.

Hold on to your wrenches, the_merv is on the prowl for another project!

Im about to embark on a similar build with my V6 bird. The only thing I need to get is an 01 PCM so that I can tune it with HP (have an 01 credit). Would anyone in here know if I need to just find an 01 PCM, or can I buy one of those off eBay from PCM for less where they would change the vin to match the V6?
