The Doorman 300-123 pulley wont work. It's too shallow so it needs the pump to be spaced back to clear the pump snout. You can see it sits deeper on the shaft than the original one.
But even then, it hits the pump mounting bolt heads.
Going to wait to drop the engine in until I find another pulley.

I couldn't find the V felts without buying a whole set for over $100. So I bought an 8' flat felt "fuzzy" locally for $20.
I put the door panels on the car, lined up a bent metal strip on the top edge to leave the correct clearance for the flat felt. The V shaped ones would be easier since they allow for more slop.
I riveted the metal strip to the top edge of the panel. I'll stapel or rivet the flat felt on after I pad/vinyl the panel.

Mating a 10 spline Muncie to an LS motor made easy.
The Sachs 1050 flywheel ($50 Oreileys) is drilled for an old school pressure plate. It's tapped for metric bolts though.
The 11" pressure plate/clutch is Sachs K555203 ($119 Oreileys) and the bolt holes line up. However, 3 of the holes are slightly smaller and will need to be drilled out. The other advantage to this clutch is that I can swap out a $30 26 spline clutch disk later if I want to change to another trans (Richmond, T10, etc).
The only downside is that the flywheel is thick and heavy.
Ialso checked clearance with a standard BBC 621 bell housing, looks good. still need to 0 it in though.
And theres plenty of engagement with the LS7 pilot bearing.

All the LS motors should be able to swap flywheels. If the 70 trans is 26 spline, just get the pressure plate/disc for that year.
The pressure plate I listed needed 3 of the bolt holes enlarged slightly with a 3/8" drill. Not sure why 2 different sizes. I used ARP flywheel bolts for an 02 LS1, and had to buy the M10 x 1.5 pressure plate bolts for an 05 3500, 6.0 from the dealer.

I got mine locally from these guys, but I'm sure they'll ship:

I'm using the stock pedal but shortened it a couple inches.

Yep, just a standard LS7 pilot bearing (SDparts). It fits in the outer flange.
I did a manual Z bar in my 68 corvette and an this car.
A hydraulic throwout should work, but the spacing with the LS is a little different so you might have to do some creative shimming.
GM used several locations for the block Z bar monut from the bell housing to several inches forward in corvettes. You might want to see if you can find a different Z bar mount location and keep the manual linkage.
