I made a couple 1/4" aluminum plates between the adapter plates and poly mounts.
GTO manifolds didnt fit, so I'll try some f body manifolds if I can get them cheap. I'm a little worried the passenger side will hit the firewall. I think most of the f body manifolds in A body cars use plates that move the engine forward.

I went with the GMPP muscle car pan kit, which I think is a H3 pan with a different part number. IDK? Anyway, im not worried about the pan clearance hanging below the chassis cross member, I will probably never lower the car anyway, I still like the old school "Muscle" look. Stock ride. I may have to get the pan sectioned for the steering knuckles though.

On a side note I did end up ordering the Edelbrock Vr Jr, MSD 6010, to go ahead and swap it over to carb. I still cant get away from those carbs you know... Besides, the LSx with a carb looks mean!

The GM muscle car pan is the H3 pan.
The CTS-V pan is only about 1" shallower, but I got a brand new takeoff for $140. Hard to beat that deal.

Under the hood:
F body exhaust manifolds:

And I moved the z bar mount back to the position on the bell housing to make sure there would be plenty of clearance for the exhaust.

And there's a perfect flat spot on the fender well to mount the S10 bracket for the ecu.

And all connections are with weatherpack connectors.

And the underside, trunk pan looks good. Tank removed, going with a 95-96 Caprice tank. Also going to make a new fuel line.

Driveline angles.
I was a little worried with the engine being raised up that driveline angles would be off. But engine/trans is down 3 degrees, diff is up just shy of 3 degrees. And in spite of the way it looks, the driveshaft angle is only 5 degrees down. Probably closer than the factory set it.
So if there's no vibration, I'm leaving it.

I wonder about my drive line angle raising my motor 3/8" under the frame mounts. But I had to.

Condensor, radiator and Windstar fans installed. I move the radiator forward, never hurts to have extra room.

Looking good Gary. I'm glad you had the room to move the radiator forward, unlike your Corvette! Do you have a "first start" date on the calendar yet?

Cool build Gary. You should post this over on ROP and ruffle a few feathers with the LSx Olds.

Upper hose is from the 442 with a reducer/1/4" steam line port.

Lower hose is from the 442 with a couple inches cut off.

And I picked up a 96 caprice gas tank with pump/sender. And ordered my fuel system parts.

Racetronics walbro pump conversion for the Caprice tank.

Cut the trunk.

Boxed the hole, carpet over it.

Interior in, 10 speaker stereo, comfy cloth seats.
