I have kept up with your car a bit, always been very impressed. As afar as the nitrous goes, I don't think it was a weak piston, I think it was the 30 degrees even on race gas. These motors need less timing than the gen 1 sbc etc.. I didn't believe it until I started trying it, granted there is a sweet spot but it's always best to start low and bring the timing in slowly. Sorry to hear about the loss, I was really hoping to see this car in the low, low 9s...

Good luck with your next build, I'm sure it will be a monster!

ok...bone stock,cam only,lq4 on a 150 shot.....and 9's.

time to find a LQ9 :yes:

i've been a 9.81 on motor and was wanting to go in the 8's on a shot of gas...my first and only nitrous pass with a 150 shot was a 5.76 in the eigth...
