So how have you guys or would you get wires to the front part of the engine mount? To keep everything hidden, i had planned to hug the oil pan then come up, but with my clearances its going to be awful close to the headers. Is the heat tape going to be enough?

There are coil harness extentions you can use or extend the harness yourself.
Unwrapping the harness and rerouting the coil wires might get you some, but most likely you will have to extend the wires.
CurrentPerformance has some.. http://www.currentperformance.com/Ac...iring_acc.html

As long as you use good high temp wire, you should have a problem with heat. Wires for knock sensors on GEN IV engines are one example of wiring routed down below.

I was going to order 2 rolls of heat reflective tape like this http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS-Performan...32030/10002/-1
I figured mani's get hotter than long tubes do, and GM gets by with its crank sensor, oil level, and starter wire with it.
