my 89 notch lsx swap is pretty much done and running. just need to get exhaust on it i have a magaflow x pipe. just wondering what mufflers you guys think will sound the best on this. its got kooks 1 7/8 headers with a 3 1/2 inch collector. stepped down to 3 inch. I wanted corsa but turns out they no longer sell just mufflers. its just going to be headers x muffler and turn downs. let me know what you guys recommend thanks

loud, quiet? bullets? full size mufflers?

i went with a magnaflow full size 3" muffler with a built in tru-x and into dumps right before the axle. I havent finsihed welding it up yet so i dont have a sound clip yet but it should be pretty loud.

I have magnaflow on my mustang. Its the only thing you can get prefabbed for a mustang that sounds good on a lsx. I dont have any sound clips but Im running kooks headers, magnaflow x pipe and no cats. Its not real loud but I have cutouts to fix that when i want to.

Magnaflows. Believe me that even when they considered quiet at idle...not so much considering your application. I have dynatechs 1 7/8 with 3" exhaust including 3" mac prochamber and magnaflows and flowmasters 3" tailpipes. I got a 93 coupe, which I'm planning to sell.

I've got shorties to truck cats to MAC mufflers /w stock GT tailpipes on it, way too quiet. I'm gonna swap out the mufflers for Summit racing glasspacks(bullet style).
