Hey Bandit! The More-door and the family are doing great! We welcomed our 2nd child to the family in September so life has been a little crazier but blessed every day! But I still find time to indulge my hobbies!

Here is 2yo son is helping daddy wash the Nova last summer. Gotta get them into it young!

I also dug this up! Circa 2001, when I was 16 about a month after getting the Nova!

In case I never posted one, here is a current engine bay shot:

I replaced the old sagging, worn-out leafs with DSE 2” drop springs, poly bushings from and rear, new larger u-bolts, 3/8” thick shackles and grade 8 hardware. HUGE difference! The ride is more stiff, but also much more connected , no wheel hop and almost 0 side-to-side sway like I had with the original leafs!

The old leafs must have been sagging right about 2”, because there was only ¼” ride height change!

I reworked the entire exhaust system to eliminate as many joints as possible, add and H-pipe, tuck the pipes as high as possible and add over-axle pipes. The over-axles are a Flowmaster kit for F and X-body cars and fit almost perfect!

Apparently you responded to me last year and I didn't even see it! Sorry man. Thank you for updating it (back then) with some fresher photos and video. Your engine bay looks factory perfect! And it's cool to see your son out there with the car!

The forum does still embed YouTube videos, you just can't use the youtu.be address; you need the one with the full youtube.com address like so:

She sounds great! Hope you continue to enjoy the car and keep us updated.

I am working on my 74 finally. It is a 4 door like yours, and my first car. I bought an L96/6l90 equipped van at auction. I am going to work on rebuilding the engine and trans (ran well, but had 220k on it). I wanted to ask if you have figured out what you are going to do with your interior. Mine is all green now, and I want to do it all black, but I cannot figure out where to get back seats that fit. Any ideas?

figured if I could get some seats that fit from a junkyard I could do that and save a bit.

I had my back seat re upohlstered to match my cheap front racing seats, used fox body brackets to mount them and my mom does upohlstery so the rest was history…. Although they make seat covers that you can install yourself via hog rings

Cheap $150 seats from summit, mainly bought them for the reclining feature and also to change over my interior color from white to black

Just a lsa supercharged 370” lq9 with ls3 heads and a 220/230 cam with 2.45” pulley and fic 850cc injectors

This one is done for now

This is a ‘73 c10 shortbed fleet side that i picked up for dirt

Within a week i had the straight 6 and granny 4 speed out in favor of a cammed 5.3 and a 3000 stalled th350…now just finishing prep for paint and body, then i will be taking out the gm ecu and putting in a centrifugal supercharger and a terminator x…..it already hauls *** N/A but you always want more!!! Plus these square bodies are going for big money now days, i just gotta make it pretty like the nova!!
