Default For those running truck accessories that want a low mount alternator.

I've got this F-body alternator bracket (comes with 2 different pulleys depending on how you want to run it. If you plan to run it with truck accessories I have the ribbed idler pulley, spacers, and longer bolts you will need (http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/...cessory-drive/), if you plan to run it with the f-body accessories I have the smooth idler pulley. ($40+ship)

Just a heads up since I know a lot of people look for options to run a low mount. This works with either the truck alternator or car alternator. Bolts alone cost me $10.

All of the Gen III and IV engine use passenger side, low mounted AC Compressors that are driven by a Belt in board of the main front Accessory Serpentine belt.

So, unless you moving it. that is about as low and inside as your going to get.

There are after market setup for the Sanden Compressor that are a bit smaller in size as compared to the GM OEM one.

The Trailblazer 5.3 & 6.0 compressor is slightly more compact than most other OEM LSx compressors and it is also a fixed displacement compressor, which I believe would be ideal for a G-body.

To the O/P, you can still get this bracket new from the dealer and an idler pulley from most parts stores for less than you're asking.

Open to offers, I was under the impression these alternator brackets were discontinued. The bolts alone cost over 10 bucks at fastenall for the super long m10 bolts plus not everyone can turn down the spacers. Would make a good deal for someone who wants a bolt on solution.

Just FYI, I'd find another way to route your belt, I.E. up and over the waterpump. There is hardly any belt surface on that crank pulley!
