Anyone ran reversed passenger manifold on e36 driver side?

Anyone ran reversed passenger manifold on e36 driver side? Thinking about possible budget swap ideas and was wondering if anyone has tried using a passenger manifold mounted on the driver side to clear then steering shaft then making turning in front of the motor and coming back around the passenger side of the block and connecting to the factory system?
