Default T5 master cylinder hitting header!?

Hey guys..

Just finished up dropping my sbc 350 in my '94 firebird. I used a T5 trans from an '86 T/A, and i used LT1 headers. Seems like the master cylinder is hitting the bottom of the header. Tell me that i dont have to find a different bell housing to make something work? What are my options without having to yank things apart? Are there other options for master cylinders?

Your help is really much appreciated!!

P.S., i would much appreciate not getting the typical lecture as of to why i didnt do an LS1 or LT1. Seems like i hear it 100 times a day from any member on this forum.

There was a member on here that did the same thing with his..He used some Mac mid length headers. Another meathod might be on McClouds website for a throwout bearing like on the ls1 t56s. I was looking at this company too back a few years ago too....howeracing.com . This looks maybe the best bet.
