I have an opportunity to pick up a 2006 4.8 and 4l60E combo with all accessories both harnesses and computers, and pedal for $1200. It has 90K on it, is this a good deal? I would like a 5.3, but in reality it only makes 20 more hp.

From what I understand the 2006 has the DBW and the return less fuel rails. He told me he would give me everything I needed to convert it to DBC if I wanted. What should I go with? Also what do I need to do about the fuel system? My trooper currently has the same GM tbi you would find on a 90s chevy truck or van with a 4.3 or 5.7. Which I think is around 13 psi of fuel pressure. Could I just retrofit a walboro 255 in place of my current fuel pump in the tank, and then maybe put fittings on the end of my lines instead of the hose clamps it has now? What needs to be done with the returnless fuel rails?

thanks, any suggestions are appreciated
