Default Fuel question

I'm installing my lq9 in my nova and have a question about the fuel system. I'm using a wallboro pump with fuel filter regulator. What holds pressure on the line once you shut it off, then restart it at a later time. I'm using a ls2 intake. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I believe that the return line from the filt/reg holds pressure.
After the engine is shut off, it eventually bleeds down to zero (through the return line). I thought that there was a problem with the bleed-down, but
pressure is normal while running.
