Default Exhaust for LS engines?

Just got my 70 chevelle done with stock Ls engine runs great sounds like crap!I put Magnaflow mufflers on it super quiet at idle put when you get on it,it sounds like wore out V6 with glass packs!Any suggestions?

I'm pretty happy with my single 3" Borla ProXS. It was pretty quiet until my header gasket started leaking. I get lots of compliments on how "mean" it sounds.

Install a crossover pipe and a helmholtz chamber near the muffler on each side. These will greatly reduce the exhaust noise.

Typically 26 inches long and the same diameter as your exhaust piping will kill noise around 2k rpm.
