Exhaust for LS engines?
Just got my 70 chevelle done with stock Ls engine runs great sounds like crap!I put Magnaflow mufflers on it super quiet at idle put when you get on it,it sounds like wore out V6 with glass packs!Any suggestions?

Here you go buddy, maybe you can get some ideas from here: www.ls1sounds.com. I finally found what I like by go with a 3" cutout.

Install a crossover pipe and a helmholtz chamber near the muffler on each side. These will greatly reduce the exhaust noise.

Typically 26 inches long and the same diameter as your exhaust piping will kill noise around 2k rpm.
