Default Need recomendations ECM reprogram

Im looking for recommendations for a ECM reprogram for my swap project. The ECM is for a 4.8 LY2 2007 Silverado nnbs Gen IV. The engine will be stock except for headers and exhaust. So Im open to suggestions on who to use , I will also need help with cleaning up and repin the truck harness.

I recommend getting the VATS removed first, then after it runs, get a street tune.

If you are getting rid of most of your emissions remove them from the tune as well.

Yes it will be emissions delete and no a/c. I'm not asking for suggestions want the tune should be.I'm looking for referrals for someone or sponsors that can do it and are willing to answer questions about harness clean up , and repin.

tuned by frost is usually recommended on here and his prices are really good ($150). As a comparison I'm in the same boat as you. E38 GenIV engine needing VATS and just an intake and full exhaust. There was another guy looking for the same thing for an 2010 silverado about 6 days ago, he posted here, a truck site and on HPTuners and didn't get much of a response. He emailed Frost but didnt hear back, I emailed Frost last week to ask if he'll do GenIV tunes(they're not listed on his site) but haven't heard back either. The other recommendation in his thread was FAST Motorsports which is $200. There was a guy on HPTuners in Mead, Wa that said he would do it for $150 with free updates as long as you paid shipping.

As a comparison LT1swap wants $150 just for the VATS removal, the cheapest I've found VATS removal is $100 on eBay, I'd rather pay the $50 extra for the tune to see what happens. I'm hoping that Frost responds with a yes to tuning GenIV truck PCMs.

We do standard tunes for $150 (GEN III) and $200 (GEN IV). This includes removal of vats, emissions, egr/air pump (where applicable), activation/lowering of fans and updates for tire and gear ratio. We can also provide a pcm with a tune for slightly more money $200 (GEN III) and $250 (GEN IV ECM only, TCM is $75).

Keep in mind that we dont do performance tuning via mail order.

Let me know if you turn up anything on Frost. E38 is almost 7 years old now, you would think more would get with the program by now.

We do a lot of the performance tunes for these applications, including streetrods as well. If you have any questions you can call me and I can answer them for you. I usually charge $75 to $125 depending on the computer types with free updates for life..

Yes, Steve from Frost emailed me over the weekend. He does do GEN IV mail order tune and its a swap . Its a little confusing but this the correct link to do the reprogram as I understand even thou its titled 99 -02 F-body it covers ALL SWAPS. http://www.tunedbyfrost.com/products_m04.htm

Yes he responded to my inquiry in his sales thread and said the same thing linking me to the 99-02 fbody with internal mods or swaps link that you received. My post as well as some others from that thread seemed have been deleted for some reason though. Let me know who you go with i'm still on the fence about Frost, Wait4me or Wayne Hartwig. My main hesitation is about using a non ISS trans with a genIV PCM which others have reported causes major drivability issues and that it can't be tuned out with HPTuners although Frost said he could tackle it.
