Default 01 camaro brakes lock up, 65 nova

I have installed a 2001 camaro V6 into a 65 nova wagon.
I also installed the booster and master cylinder from the camaro.

The front brakes lock up. It will release if the bleeder is cracked or the line going into the master cylinder.

The brakes also release if I loosen the 2 master cylinder bolts.

The booster rod goes in and out easily.

Trying to determine if it is the booster or master cylinder. Any ideas?

Thanks

Might not be either. I have seen TONS of brake hoses collapse on the inside when the pedal releases, and keeps the fluid in the caliper. If they are used hoses You might want to check that.

new hoses and calipers. Since it is both sides I was thinking it is not the calipers.

Is your push rod too long?

This is my guess too. If loosening the master cylinder mounting bolts releases the pressure, the rod has to be too long.
