do i unbolt this from intake and block with a expansion plug or do i need it? I havent looked at my harness to see if theres a plug for it wiring was reworked by bill at bp automotive its my first swap i tried a search and only found stuff for the ls1 intake not the truck

Most people delete it and have it tuned out of the PCM. You can get a plug for the intake at the dealer since when they first stopped using EGR the intakes still had the hole and they were plugged from the factory.
