54 chevy sedan with 5.3 and a 4l60e daily driver Hey guys I need some assistance with this daily driver build. I have a 08 5.3 with 32k and an rebuilt 02 4l60e trans. The engine came complete with everything from top to bottom on the motor. DBW pedal, wiring harness, body harness, trans control module, PCM, and everything else in between. This is my first ls swap and Im getting excited about driving this car. Where Im stuck at wether to go any further on this build, is that this motor has the DOD AFM. The question I have is, will this AFM going to be a problem when we get to the point of starting and running the car. Honestly I hope it works like it should and doesnt throw a BIG kink in the mix cause I would love the extra fuel milage. I will post pics asap.
