I've had a direct fit Griffin radiator in my 82 Monte for over 10 years with SBCs, a 502 BBC, and now my LS swap. Never had a problem with it. However this car is a summer only non daily driver.

I have one of their direct fit units in my Firebird. It does not fit directly like the OEM did. Also, I've developed a leak after only 7 months. It looks great and cooled well, but was a hassle for something that was just supposed to be a drop in and bolt right up.

I STILL like my Afco. "direct fit" 70 Camaro. Besides it not fitting in the stock location, lol. These clowns at AFCO not knowing what hoses would work. I thought I avoided problem with a direct fit. The only saving grace is its pretty,
