1970 Chevelle/442/GTO column update ???
1970 A-body
Looking to see if I can upgrade my column to something a bit more OEM modern with a lever activated
switch for delay wipers, and cruise for my LSX swap. Junkyard swap out from a modern car preferrably
with the proper info for a rag joint.
Just an FYI I am swapping out my 16.1 ratio steering box for the 12.7:1 ratio 93-98 Grand Cherokee too.
I have no idea what will or will not work to be honest, so I'm throwing it out there for some more eyes to assist.
Currently rewiring the entire car so it's something I'd like to find SOON!!!
IF anyone knows of any Chevelle GTO, 442, Skylark column swaps to something more modern .....please let me know

Your best bet is to get an older tilt column and newer column and rebuild the two into one. I am not sure about the Chevelle columns since they are front drive but another option would be to get a Cherokee column. The only difference between these and the Chevy columns is that they have Mopar key that can be swapped out.
