yeah i had the 5.7 and 4l60e, and no i didnt have to do anything really to make the trans fit i even used the original cross member! it already had a bunch of holes in the frame from the factory so i just slid it back and used those, it doesnt hit the firewall or even come close, i used dirty dingo mounts and i could probably slide the engine back another inch if i really wanted to.

cool! good to know, i had read somewhere that the tunnel needed some massaging to fit a 4l80e which didnt make sense to me. i plan on parking my truck this summer to do some work on it (14 bolt swap, clean/por-15 frame, motor/trans build) and this has got me thinking about what i want to do motor/trans-wise. just add it to the never-ending list of stuff i want to do lol

thanks!

havent taken it to the track yet wtih the new setup, my a1000 **** the bed and got some oil pressure issues that i hope is just a bad gauge or failing oring and not something serious. then gotta mount the new Qa1s and i can take it to the track again lol. hope to make it to turkey rod run this year as well.

Well somehow i had three main bearijg give out on me and my oil pressure dropped, i didkt run it long enough to spin anything or hurt anything, jusa polished the crank .010 and tossed in new bearings. Got the motor back together and in the truck in a couple of days so I could make it to turkey rod run, lucky for me it rained every ******* day until thanksgiving haha.
