small update. had my wifes Birthday over the weekend so didn't really get much done.

stage 2 Diamond clutch came in

And i painted the valve covers. I didn't want glossy paint on them and i dont like the wrinkle paint. I wanted a texture look to them, so i decided the use spray on bed liner. and yes i researched it. it will work just fine. I like the way it turned out

not much has happened. been waiting on parts to come in. got a few in from jegs and my wire harness from wiring specialties (very nice quality). notched the subframe so i could get the motor back another inch. i pull the motor out the car and im putting it together. I didnt have the clutch, pick up tube, windage tray, ect on the motor. now that i have test fitted everything, the install should go pretty smooth. ill update with more pics once i start reinstalling everything.

well, the motor is in for good, doesn't run yet though. still need to put the drive shaft in, make my plug wires, put headers on, hook up the wire harness and finish hooking up a few other things. ran out of time yesterday.

Nice build. Any chance you have any more pix if the notched cross member? Oddly enough I can't notice where it was notched. Thanks in advance and subscribed for more updates.
