I'm particularly interested in whether the harness will be too constraining on locatgion for the PCM. Putting an LS in a '61. Don't have the LS yet.
Last one I did, I had a wiring harness built; purchased all other stuff individually. This may be a little cheaper.

It's for the LS3......is that what you plan to run? If so, you still need to buy a trans controller/harness. I am using one of these now, and don't care for the architecture. It is designed to mount everything under the hood and run a few leads inside. The pedal harness is about 7 feet long....I mounted everything inside the car, and it has been busy under the dash to say the least.

Yes, I am thinking I'll do the LS three.
I have an LS1 in my 56 convertible. I put the computer underneath the driver seat under the car. I'd like to put the one in this car probably in behind the dash. I'm sure that is crowded.
I'll probably end up looking at either spirit text or street and performance.
I've been considering buying a complete pull out with engine and transmission, but everything that I find is either too high with with a 4L80, or very high mileage. I'm about to get up and go with the new crate engine.

Check with PSI conversions or BP automotive. They shoould have a solution for you to run the LS3 with a 4L60 or 65E only using one computer, and not a trans controller. If I do another one, that's what I am going to do. While the GM harness is nice, it's overpriced and layed out wrong for my liking.
