Searched and read and read and searched but can't fine much info on thermostat interchange compatability. I have a 2003 LM4 5.3 that needs the lower hose going in a different direction. Don't like the idea of the housing and thermostat all one unit. Is there a thermostat that fits the earlier engines and not attached to the housing?
