Alternator wiring LS2
Technical question .......I am sure some one has already do this .. The two Alternator signal wires on ls2 2005 GTO are Orange and White . I want to tie my alternator wiring from my 1972 Nova (GM ) which are Blue and white.. which wires interface with each other ?

Use the blue wire to the L terminal on the LS2 alternator. I have a dummy light so no resistor is required. I believe the white wire is not used at this point. You have to convert your Nova harness to eliminate the external regulator by jumping the wires at your regulator, connect blue and brown together.
Here's a link to painless wiring's pigtail with directions about resistor if you have a gauge.
