Default Need help swap lm7 5.3 in gm b-body

Hello to all fans of tuning.
Now I am doing the restoration car Buick LeSabre coupe 81.
I want to install the LM7 engine (5.3 tahoe 2002 year)but ran into some problems.
can I install this engine does not cut the frame and oil pan changing? What you need to use motor mounts?
Searching for similar topics in the forum but did not find. I would be very grateful for photos and direct links. because I have problems with English

I'm only going by what I have read on a few builds, someone that's actually done a b-body like yours is going to possibly have better information. Dirty Dingo mounts are pretty popular because they are adjustable and can possibly be used with a factory motor mount. You may need to modify or replace the oil pan as the truck pan may sit too low. With truck accessories I think you will be ok and not have to modify the front cross member.

What does the car look like now?

What is that big hole underneath the car? Is that for access, or is it just dirt below the concrete?

Best of luck on your install!

My idea is
shift due to the motor bracket back so as not to cut the frame and not to change the oil pan. whether it is possible to do so and will not interfere with motor shield?

If I done mine again, I would cut the cross-member and use an f-body pan.

You need to change the oil pan. The truck pan will hang too low. As far as motor mounts, you will need ones off of a 77-90 Chevy Caprice that came with a Chevy 305 or 350. Some Caprices came with Oldsmobile engines, you don't want those motor mounts because they are different. Dirty Dingo adapters work well because they are adjustable and you can slide your engine back and forward to fit. The clam shell mounts to the adapter plates and you'll have to mount the bottom part of the engine mount in the same position as a Chevy.
