98 to 01 truck, 0411 PCM swap. Anyone got a pinout?
Looking for a spreadsheet to confirm pin locations between a 98 & 0411 PCM. We have cross referenced the two, but there are discrepancies. Probably, near a dozen ranging from "might be the correct location based on description," "is this used" & "why don't the circuit numbers match?"
Posted specific examples in the PCM section & can discuss here, as well. Finding a spreadsheet that labels the confirmed corresponding pins would be very helpful. Thank-you.

Thank-you all for the information. I have spent several hours printing out pinout sheets & wiring schematics, then cross referencing all of the wiring from the 98 & the 01 PCM. The excel file should help me figure out some of the discrepancies. Some of the 01 0411 PCM pin out sheets I've found vary in both circuit numbers & pin locations. It's confusing.
Need to download excel viewer (loading now) & then will print the document.
The plan is to use the 0411 red & blue connectors so that the correct wire colors match the schematics. There is approx. a foot of wiring extending from each connector. Will then solder & shrink wrap the 0411 wiring to the 98 harness. Fortunately, Hutter racing let me buy some pins from their garage stock. We have enough pins to add to the connectors if needed.

Actually, for the 2001, 0411 we bought there are differences. Your spreadsheet did clear up some of the issues, but, not others. The time spent finding schematics & pinouts has helped also; as has having the red & blue connectors for this PCM. The drawings & pinouts are in the garage right now. Am marking the spreadsheet & will include it in the thread once the wiring is completed. It will be a good source for others who are doing the swap w/ this particular 0411 PCM. It's out of an 01 Blazer.
Had read that there were differences in some of the 0411 PCM models & have found it to be true. There's no doubt that your spreadsheet is correct for the year & probably many years of the 0411 PCM, just not all of 'em. In conjunction w/ the other information we have; it is a great resource.

The document shown above says it's for a an 04 GTO.
Some of the colors will differ between a car and truck as well as V6- V8 models.
The 0411 PCM was used from 01-02 in cars, trucks, and vans with V6's along with V8's. The also had DBW as well as DBC
In 03 they went with a 1MB PCM which again will have some different pin outs. The PCM connector color also changed.
There is a GM style document here for an 01 Silverado---> http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/lsx-t...-diagrams.html
I also attached some ones home made document but have not verified it is correct to the link above.

Another note here circuit numbers can and will be different depending on what you are comparing it to. Same goes for wiring colors. I would not waste too much time trying to get that right just edit the spreadsheet for where you want to go. Last part is it sounds like you are trying to pin this thing to what the 411 came out of. You want to pin it for the OS you want. If this is a conversion I would be going for a car OS for more performance.

69 Ghost,
I never said it was wrong, just different. There will be others after me that come into the swap with no experience with the 0411 PCM. It's not my intention to argue or discredit, only to clarify. Main differences are a couple of injector locations & wire colors. I also do now understand that circuit numbers will be different & that it's OK. Wasn't sure whether or not this was an issue until seeing your document. Just one of many items that your spreadsheet helped to clear up. Thank-you

Thanks,
Yes, I saw that it's for an 04 GTO. Am only trying to clarify differences w/ the 0411 in general.
What you have attached are similar to what I'm seeing on the GM schematics we downloaded. as well. Main concern today is whether or not using an 0411 w/ a distributor ignition is gonna be an issue. Have re-pinned to cover the 8 ignition coils for the LS engine, but don't know for sure if the circuits are within the 0411. Hoping that the circuits are there & by adding the pins & connections from the 98 PCM, the coils will fire. There also other less important differences.
Will be loading an operating system compatible w/ an LS based 0411. Have pinned it based on an LS based car, but, w/ truck wire colors so that I can follow what was done in the future by looking @ the marked up pinouts & schematic.

It used the 411 PCM as well
If you cant find one online let me know.

So if you have a 411 PCM from a V6 Express Van, what needs to be done exactly to make it work on a 2001 5.3 LM7?
I am trying to start the car for the first time and I'm getting a no spark situation on my setup and have pretty much narrowed it down to something with the PCM. Grounds are good, relays and fuses are good, crank sensor is good, new plugs, new injectors, new fuel, new harness. And VATS are removed. Any ideas?
Current setup: 5.3, 69mm turbo, Setup for Speed Density tuning, LS1 intake, 80lb injectors, E85, Boost Ref FPR. It turns over fine, I have pressure at the rails and fuel being sprayed into the cylinders, just seems no spark is happening.

96 black box to 01 express van l31 411 pcm
Is there any way someone could help me with the pinout conversion with 96 black box to 01chevy express van 411pcm? Having trouble finding the correct pinout swap sheet
