No, the LSA blower pulley is out further than the corvette pulley. all the LSA engines use Corvette spacing for the main accessory's. so the LSA 8 rib pully sits further out than the 6 rib belt. so to answer your question, No you can not run the LSA with one belt on Corvette spacing

I ended up using the "modified" Vette accessory configuration. I already had the Vette front drive, plus the alternator on the LSA front drive would interfere with my steering box. I wasn't fond of how GM shows to mount the steering reservoir. So I made a bracket on the drivers inner fender well with my fuse box mount to attach to.

Personally I'd go with a different pump. After searching around I found a Pierburg CWA50 off of an X5 BMW that came with wiring and a bracket for about $65 bucks. It performs on par with the Varimax pump that all the ZL1 guys upgrade to.

Can anyone answer a question for me?
What is different about a “modified” Corvette FEAD vs a regular Vette FEAD when using a LSA sc?

I have a new vette FEAD AND CONCIDERING doing a LSA and I refuse to buy a new FEAD. THATS a deal breaker for me.

thanks,
jim

Hey Jim, from what I understand it has something to do with the water pump. The Vette and LSA main accessories are on the same spacing, but the CTS-V has some additional bosses in the water pump for the tensioner brackets for the 8 rib supercharger setup. Check out my build earlier on and you can see what I mean. Your PS and Alt will work just the same.

I wouldn't modify my FEAD, get the Olson Kustom Works mod to the LSA and use your factory drive.

That's what I've done, anyway....

I have the GMPP Vette FEAD but I did buy the LSA WP and supercharger parts(brackets and pulley’s ). Just the pulleys and brackets were over $600. The Modified LSA FEAD is about $1200. I’m just glad when I got my FEAD it was around 500

either way, the entire FEAD setup is expensive once you ad in the supercharger parts. Holley FEAD parts seems to bridge the gap between OEM quality and appearance that many people want. HOLLEY needs to expand the FEAD lineup to include LSA supercharger swaps.
