Thanks! Reading now. Who made your hx tank? Any pictures of how it fits? I need something like that.

The tank was made by pnrwelding@gmail.com. the HX is built by C&R racing I had it with custom 1" hose barbs for my system. Page 100 shows the tank out of the car and further down the bottom of the page it shows the HX installed in the car between the radiator and A/C condenser. I had to trim the upright that holds the hood latch on my 69 not sure on other years.

Thanks UPS. Debating whether or not this bothers me enough to open a claim. Going to see how visible it is once mounted.

The dent is covered by the bottom of the core support so decided just to leave it alone. Started to mock up radiator and heat exchanger and hopefully slapped the blower on for the last time. They're damn heavy when you're doing it by yourself.

This weekend in going to try and figure out plumbing and then how to route the throttle cable

Finally found some hoses that work. Top is cut out from an 99 suburban. Bottom is from 03 Escalade.

Is that the Holley throttle bracket that sandwiches between the TB and flange?

first plumbing problem is the hose barbs stick out so far that with hoses attached my headlights dont have room to open and close.

Ended up ordering some an bungs and low profile fittings. They're still too big so I'm going to have to slide the hx over uncentered. This sort of bothers me since it's visible through the grill but there's really no other option.

Finished up all the wiring under the hood. Got my glove box plate this week as well where the pcm, relay/fuse panel and obd2 port will go.

The Holley throttle cable bracket I got seems to place the cable just a bit out of alignment. Still trying to figure this out. Needs to come over about a 1/4in.

Holley Support: I dunno, it should work. Wait, what it's an LSA nevermind, it wasn't designed for that.
Me: But it's a standard LS drive by cable throttle body with a standard 4 bolt intake.
Holley Support: Silence

After a lot of very awkward silence, I dropped it off at a friend who can weld to modify it.

so I decided to dump in the break in oil and just see if it cranks to verify my wiring. click click nothing....I guess sitting on my garage floor all winter killed what was a brand new battery. Go to pep boys to swap it out and after bringing the new one home I get nothing. Confused I poke around for a while and eventually decide to bring the new one back because it must be bad. Bring the 2nd new one home and it does the same thing. Now I'm convinced I fried something trying to crank it. After 20 minutes I realized I'm just stupid and left off the positive jumper wire from the battery cable to the distribution block on the core support. She cranks real nice.

Trying to find a base tune, but should have the fuel system done this week (I got distracted cleaning the trunk floor above the gas tank and the rear rails and painting/undercoating them) and then I think I can dump in some gas and see what happens.

Also should have my heat exchanger brackets and newly modified throttle cable bracket done today or tomorrow so then I can try and knock out the cooling system.
