Gas coming out of vent hose on tank
Ok so I have a spectra gn tank with a racetronix 340lph with corvette filter/reg. when car is at an idle with 3/4 tank fuel comes out of the vent hose for tank. I need some sort of valve to allow proper venting with out letting fuel escape . tried plugging it for now but car runs like **** so then I took off gas cap to get home and fuel will come out of filler neck when you accelerate. . So finally put cap on loose just to get home. I think fuel is being returned to tank at such a rate as to push it out the vent . Also sucks to fill up . Keeps clicking off or overflowing . Does anybody have a fix for this?

I don't know how long your vent tube is, but here is some good info.

Says to get it up higher than the filler neck. Bad venting will cause it to fill slow too.

I ordered a vent valve from tanks inc just have to fig out where to put it . Not many places I can put higher than filler neck. Then there is the poor filling. Burns my *** that they continue to sell these tanks with this problem.. I'm thinking of buying a new one from rockauto and modifying it , then swapping them out.

The new style tanks inc tanks put the vent high (like it is supposed to be)- like this one http://www.tanksinc.com/index.cfm/pa...rod/prd457.htm You can see it on the center of the pump cut out area. I am using the II Much vent with my vaproworx tank and haven't had any issues.
