Default Swapping oil pan, what pickup tube o-ring to use?

I'm swapping my 5.3L oil pan to a low profile LS3 pan. The original pickup tube came with a red o-ring, and the new one with a blue. Which one should I used? From what I read on another forum, you are supposed to use whatever o-ring came with the pickup tube. Is this correct?

I would use the one that came with the pickup tube. Do the two different color o rings have different diameters?

I'm trying to remember, I too had the same issue. I f I remember RIGHT one will not fit right in my LS3. It was either too big or small, I'm not sure which, but you will notice when you try to install.
