Whipple fitament for Chevelle?

Does anyone know if a 2.9L Whipple on top of a LS3 will fit under the hood of a 1972 Chevelle with an SS hood? Not interested in cutting or modifying. Would like to go the roots/twin screw style for a supercharger. Thanks!

I would say yes as a proflo XT intake fits under my stock non ss hood.
