hey everyone,

Looking for advice on my swap. Best products to buy that make this swap the easiest and quickest. At this point in my life I would rather spend a little more money to save time and head aches.........

I have a 97 Chevy c3500 4x4 with. 5.7 vortec and 4l80.

I got a good buy today on a 2002 LQ4 complete with all accessories but no computer or harness.

I can get a computer and harness from a local yard for 300.

I would like advice on:

Best conversion harness to use? What company? What is the easiest way to get this wired in and fully functional, including my factory gauges, in this vehicle?

Best motor mounts to use?

I read the swap article at hotrodlane.cc. Seems I will also need:
New ac bracket with a different style compressor?

Fuel line conversion kit?

Other things I need to consider?

All help is greatly appreciated.

Unless you are building your own harness don't bother with one from a wrecking yard,$300 is way too much even around here.Any of the vendors here will do a good job for you,others will chime in on who is the best for your truck.Dirty Dingo mounts are popular.
LT1swap and LS1truck have all the info you will need,many detailed swaps posted for you to check out.This swap is likely the easiest out there but still is a lot of work and will still cost thousands!
