Default Fuel question in a ls swap

I'm almost done with the 5.3 swap in my 98 bird and from what I understand I need to hook up a corvette fuel filter to my fuel lines, I still have the v6 pump in it right now, and I have the filter, so what do I need to do to make this work. Forgive me if this had been answered somewhere else.

I mounted my filter above my diff close to my gas tank and ran 1 line from the feed side up to my fuel rail. The other side you hook up to feed back into the tank through a return port most likely near the fuel pump.
