LY6 swap with stock truck pan- dip stick? putting an ly6 in a mustang- basically an ls3 but i guess the ls3 has an oil pan mounted dip stick? This thing was from a van so the stick was five feet long! What car/truck can i use the stick from? The hole is in the block and im using the stock pan still. Already bought an LS3 corvette dip stick and guide and it looks close but i dont think its right...

I used the Lokar dipstick on my LY6, I had to cut the end of the tube so it wouldn't hit the windage tray, see attaché package with, cut where the black mark is. Otherwise it works great.

the Vet tube didnt seem to fit in the hole right and the bracket didnt look like it would bolt on anywhere...i'll look again. I bet i need a camaro or truck one.
