Default 96 SN95 The Black Pearl

5/13/2016
Thought I would start a build thread for my "budget" SN95 build. Car is a 1996 Mustang that was originally a V6 manual trans car.

Sold the wheels and scored a good deal on some 275/60's and purchased some SVE drag wheels.

For motor mounts I'm using UPR adapter plates and solid mounts.

Mock motor in to check clearances as I am trying to use a stock k member.

I didn't take many pictures of the clean up on the motor but I will share what I have.
The engine is a 4.8 (miles unknown). I put in a small cam, ls7 lifters, new oil pump, new trays, ARP head bolts and did all the gaskets.

Before tear down.

Someone didn't know about oil changes.

Rod bearing furthest from the OP

Main furthest from the oil pump.

All back together.
