58x ls2 4l60 e38/t42 os
I have the swap from hell going on. lol
So it is a 2006 Ls2 with a 58X reluctor E38 ECM and T42 controller. I have a truck and 2010 Camaro pedal and silver blade TB.
Have a few questions;
What OS to use for the ECM and TCM? Most seem to use an 07/08 Silverado or Express Van tune. Anyone have the best OS combo to use for this?
How to get around the secondary ISIS sensor on the TCM. Since the 07/08 trucks and vans came with the 4L70 and second speed sensor. How can you get around it in the tune? 4L60 has only one.
I like the 411 PCM. Haha

The input speed sensor can be tuned out with HP Tuners on the T42 transmission controller. I've had to do it a couple of times for swaps. I have also completely flashed the T42 TCM to a different OS to do what I needed from time to time.
I think the silver blade throttle body is what is hanging you up. If you had the gold blade LS3 style (rotates the opposite direction) I know you could get this to work with the E38. I think the E40 cars used the sliver throttle body, but I'm not sure.
