native sensors for the dash and LS sensors for the PCM
Have folks come up with a way to keep the original sending units to feed the dash gauges, and install the sensors/sending units the PCM uses ? I had an old Toyota Land Cruiser ( used to joke: it was designed to be repaired in a 3rd world country). It had an unused access to the water jacket, (plugged with a pipe plug from the factory), and perfect for adding an aftermarket sending unit temp gauge. A "T" under the oil pressure sender, and we had both the original and after market oil pressure Gages.
I saw a product that bolted in place of the oil cooler lines. But of course that meant no oil cooling system.
A lot of smart people have spent a lot of time figuring out these swaps. Are there products/solutions that allow both the LS senders as well as the original sending units ? Say, something like a Donut between the oil filter & pan, or a boss to mount a sender in the radiator hose ?

There's an unused temp sender hole in the riear of the right head that has a bolt in plug in it, you can use that for another temp sender and the oil bypass can be drilled and tapped for the oil pressure gauge. Depending on the year of your engine you can usually get rid of the stock oil sender since the PCM doesn't use it, and use that spot. If you have a newer engine with DOD it may be needed but most swaps it isnt.
