Project is alive and well! Had to take a short hiatus due to workload, but we are back on it heavy now.

For the fuel system we are using Rick's Tanks designed for LSA style pump, but I'm substituting 2017 ZL1 Camaro pump for the high fuel pressure:

Got the tank mounted and then laid out for the fuel filler:

Always nice when the holes line up properly!

For the front accessory drive I went with Street Shop Inc. It puts everything in the right place, uses a Sanden style A/C compressor (the factory compressor does not seem to work well in swaps), and adds the all important power steering pump:

The radiator is ordered and should be here by Wed. or Thur.

Awesome. Thanks for the update!

Does it look like stock manifolds will work? Did you have to switch pans and delete the oil cooler?
.....any chance you take another shot or 2 of the power steering pump. I've got a rack and pinion set up that might want to conflict with space there.

Yes the stock manifolds will work. We are going to do the truck with full emissions, so we'll be using stock manifolds, cats, etc. I'll try and get a couple of different shots of the PS.

I'm not sure I can get a good enough view to help, but I think your R&P steering would be below all of this stuff. Here's some different angles and one from underneath:

The accessory drive is from Street Shop.

We are a dealer for them: http://www.speartech.com/category_s/1849.htm

I'm not sure what gear is in the truck now, but it feels like something in that range. I'll stay with it for now, and if we address anything in the diff after the truck is on the road, I'll optimize all of that, based on how it feels.

I'm glad this build is picking up speed again. It will be a valuable resource for my build as I just ordered my engine for my 71. How much room do you have between that nice front drive and the radiator or core support?

Are the 8L90 demensions and mount location the same as a 6L90? What cross member and mount did you use? Interested in driveshaft and yoke ideas you come up with.

Looks awesome by the way!!

The dimensions are similar but not exactly the same. I don't think the 8L90 takes up any more space, but the cross member mount location is a little different.

We used BRP engine mounts and trans cross member.

C&R radiator came in. They make this specific for an LS swap into a 67-72 C-10 truck. It's a dual-pass radiator to get inlet and outlet on the same side:

It includes trans cooler hookups, steam port, and comes with dual Spal fans:

I'll get it installed tomorrow.

That port is included and intended for a fan trigger sensor or whatever you may need it for.

I usually just go the easy way and use a splice to get the hoses the way I want them. Especially the upper:

Clearance is adequate to make a nice elbow for the throttle body:

That looks great. I'm really digging the FEAD. Whats the height of the '17 ZL1 pump module?

It's about 9" high freestanding. It will compress around 2", so around 7" compressed.
